Amazingly enough I HAVE been making progress on getting details for the wedding done.
The last few weeks have been very productive.
So far we have checked out a possible band for the reception. (love them)
Designed a layout for the ceremony site, and figured out how we will DIY.
Purchased NYE favors for the celebration at midnight.
Committed to a bridesmaid dress, and BM shoes.
Got the Save the Dates to Erica (BM and master calligrapher)
Started design of the invites with Tifany from Gourmet Invitations.
Considered a honeymoon(!)
Booked a makeup artist.
Started a registry.
Confirmed that we will have a 10 inch confetti flavored cake for us to cut along with our cupcakes.
Talked about the bachelorette party.
And-found some hair I like.
(the picture in the middle)
I do find myself changing my mind constantly. I cant seem to help that though, maybe thats the fun part of planning.
Brandon and I are most proud of ourselves for saving up tons of money to pay for this darn thing.. No summer vacation this year :(

A post that inspired the most..
We really have been busy working on the wedding ( I SWEAR), but nothing is as blog worthy as these inspirational photo's from FOREVER PHOTOGRAPHY.
The ironic thing about these is they have been saved in my favorite links section since January, and not only have I not really thought about them since, I was lucky enough to have my friend Sara take a similar photo for me of a centerpiece at wedding that she was at!
I do not have the photo yet, and I will post it as soon as I get it. Her photo really gave me inspiration to use that idea at my winter wedding..
The forever photography photos are mostly ceremony ideas, and the photo from the reception that Sara has is of a table centerpiece.
Grab full pretty branches from the yard and paint/glitter them. (Easy part)
Then create a plaster base to keep the branches secure and standing straight up. (Hard Part considering I have never worked with plaster)
Then I like the idea of either hanging pendulum candles or jewels (or both) from the branches..
I really like the snow covered look of the tree's that are in these photos.. Im on my way to Michaels to find a similar product.
So far this seems like a great DIY project! Now, how do I transfer them to the wedding site??

Yum Yum
I stumbled across this Hello Kitty Cake.. a must for my friend Tana! I just had to post it because I know she will be in love.
But really what caught my eye are the Wii cupcakes. I showed them to Brandon but he thought they were tacky..
I think they are terrific.

Inspiration Board
Thanks to my very special friend Daisy, I now have this beautiful inspiration board that highlights our Jewel Colored wedding. I have had a bit of trouble explaining how exactly a multicolored wedding would turn out and these pictures capture it.
Knowing that my engagement ring was what gave me the vision of gems and jewels for wedding colors and also having a New Year's eve wedding, I feel like anything goes when it comes to colors.
I also found some Indian inspiration that is absolutely gorgeous.
Look at the colors..yummy.
And all of these little details really capture the season.. I just love the gold!
